ROUGH COLLIE DOGS

It is always an honour and privilege to be asked to judge and I thank the committee for inviting me also their hospitality and my stewards, Not a big entry but had some quality exhibits. Judging took place indoors which was better for the dogs unfortunately not the best of floors but most coped well

1st WALKER & RITCHIE-NORSKA DE REMEMBER OUR LOVE FOR STARLENGA (IMP FRA)

Very promising tri masculine head rounded muzzle good underjaw, nice eye good ear set and carriage Well off for bone liked hes outline and length of back. Not happy with the floor when he moved he could such a shame as this cost him BPD, really liked him think he will have a good future.

2nd SHIPP- NO MORE HEROES DU CLOS DE SEAWIND (IMP FRA) NAF TAF

S/w very well turned out pleasing in head nice length of for face super ear carriage dark oblique eye, moved well enough little narrow in front.

CLASS 3 PUPPY DOG 2 ENTRIES- 1ABS

1st TIPPER-TIGANLEA GOOD TO GO

S/w in good coat and texture, and was well presented,  stood four square and very alert to handler, clean cheeks and head equally divided with correct stop pleasing eye and well placed ears that he used all the time needs to fill in muzzle, nice lay of shoulder and front assembly would like a bit more neck. Moved well which gained him BPD, I would also like to commend the handler for his sportsmanship in the ring

Glorious coloured s/w of 8 1/2 months and developing well for age, good eye placement and ear set overall nice shape and size moved well

1st MCLAUGHLIN - MOONDANCE DE CABRENYSSET FOR BRIHOW (IMP FRA)

B/M of lovely colour and well broken, very handsome upstanding male. Has a very appealing expression coming from dark almond shaped eye and ears right on top good length of fore face and rounded muzzle. He appeals for hes make shape and size super reach of neck correct tail set and carriage, moved well if a little close behind. Immaculately presented

CLASS 9 POST GRAD DOG  – 2  ENTRIES 

1st BROWN - MERTRISA WILD FIRE

Lovely wedge shape head, correct stop good muzzle underjaw and bite, soft eye and expression flat clan back scull  ears could be a bit tighter but used well. In good condition ample bone reach of neck deep chest firm topline which is held on the move, moved well with drive , good presentation did consider for higher awards.

2nd HOGG - BROOKYNUT STORMS LEGACY

Nicely coloured shaded s/w a little unsettled, head handles well dark almond eye and when used ears has a nice expression, overall nice shape and size, moved well carried tail a bit high on move.

CLASS 10 MID LIMIT DOG  – 5  ENTRIES- 3 ABS

1st CONGDON-MONSOLANA BOUNTY TASTE FOR AARONWELL(IMP RUS) JW ShCH

Tri with good harsh jet black fitted coat that was well presented dark eye super ear set and carriage giving an alert expression, adequate bone good reach of neck and good upper arm and  lay of shoulder deep chest , good front and rear moved well on tight feet.

2nd BROWN - JAZZMAN DU CLOSE DE SEAWIND FOR MERTRISA (IMP ROM)

Another tri with a wealth of coat that was well presented, very handsome looking and has to handled to be appreciated, wedge head blunt muzzle super bone spring of rib good length of back tail set and carriage, moved very well with drive would like a bit more up on leg to create the whole picture.

CLASS 11 LIMIT DOG – 5  ENTRIES 1 ABS

The 1st two each appealed for different virtues

1st WATERHOUSE - BORN TO BE YOURE QUITE FAMOUS LYNMEAD (IMP HUN)

WOW when judging you hope to find something special this was my something, has the most exquisite expression from his dark almond eye and no mistaking his gender. His head is so well moulded, strong under jaw, good stop, neat ears used all the time, clean back skull, good reach of neck into good shoulder nice length of back bend of stifle, right amount of bone, good feet, correct length to height ratio. Although not a big dog, he is completely balanced throughout, in good coat and condition, moved soundly with good front extension and drive at rear C.C  and B.O.B with complete agreement from co judge,  a pleasure to judge I also learnt this gave him hes title many congratulations.

2nd SCOTT - MAGICAL MOON OF LOWLANDS GREEN VALLEY FOR CHANTIQUE (IMP FRA)

Good size male super confirmation good bend of stifle and well let down hock, arched neck on good shoulder and upper arm deep chest length of back firm topline and rise over loin. Head is completely balanced with good stop eye set and placement and ear set giving required expression, he moved well on tight feet with correct tail carriage and held topline, presentation was first class and appealed for overall make shape and size, very close decision between the two could not be denied RES  C.C. and am sure he will gain his title.

3rd WELLS - COLLINGVALE CRUNCHIE AT TERELIMON JW ShCH

CLASS 12 OPEN DOG–5  ENTRIES 1 ABS

1st CONGDON-JUGBANDBLUES DU CLOS DE SEA-WIND VIA AARONWELL (IMP FRA)

Fabulous b/m with a wealth of coat and well presented, in good condition  very masculine , good  bone  substance  and body reach of neck ,with good front, spring of rib nice body lines with good bend of stifle and well let down hock. Head clean nice moulding of fore face  smooth cheeks sweet dark eye and when used ears has a very kind expression moved well.

2nd HOLLYWOOD -AMALIE LYNMEAD SAY IT AGAIN

Slightly finer than one, standing looks good in outline and profile, head is very clean and balanced with correct stop , neat ears nice eye with alert expression. Arched neck and well placed shoulder. Good front assembly deep chest and height to length ratio, creates a very elegant picture overall and moves well with purpose.

3rd COLLINS - CHELBORN SOUL DESIRE FOR TRIBURLE
